Hello everyone!
I'm a Game Design Master Degree student, and I need your help. I'm about to write a research paper about level caps in RPGs and MMORPGs and I think I could really use some data from the player's community. Especially, I think that Guild Wars is a remarkable case study, because of its really low level cap. But you can pick any rpg or mmorpg you wish.

All the collected data will be used for research purposes only. If enough data will be collected, I'll post the research paper right here. The questionnaire will remain active for 15 days from now.
The questionnaire is totally anonymous and you are not forced to answer all the questions.

I'm going to guess we can retake the survery for our views on other MMOs or would that skew your data?

Nvm: it can tell via IP that you've taken it once before.

Shame that as I had a couple of others that were non-GW to talk about.

Yeah... thing is, I was sure about it. But I guess, since people will be talking about different games, I should allow people to take the survey more than once. So you're welcome to spend some more time on it now

I would like to thank all who contributed with their time and their thoughtful answers. I would also like to congratulate with the administration of the board who allowed me to publicize the survey. I've got permabanned from other forums just for publishing the link. I also saw many other topics of people asking for data for their researches and articles: keep it like this. Don't stop them. Players are a fundamental well of knowledge for researchers in this field. A vibrant academic world is blooming around the study of videogames and virtual worlds and the more people get involved the merrier. All we can have is better understanding of games and... why not, better instruments to build better games. It's worth it. Thank you very much!

At least not in English. I wrote a couple of papers plus my bachelor thesis, but in Italian :|
